Jap Drag Series Points System
Achievement | Points |
Qualifying | Begining with 10 points and increasing by 10 points per place (max 16 ), number 1 increases by 50 points |
Non-Qualifier | 10 points if they pass scrutineering |
Round Points | 100 points per round |
Event Win | 200 points |
Compete at all events | 200 points |
- Racers do not have to stage in order to collect first round loser points.
- In the event of a tie between two or more competitors at the end of the season the following sequence will be used to obtain a champion. 1 - most win points, 2 - most runner up points, 3 - most number 1 qualifier points.
- Race numbers for the season will be issued and must be displayed clearly on the rear window screen. Racers will win the right to hold a top 10 number in the following season depending on where they finish in the championship.
- Due to breakages and unforeseen events, it is unlikely that all racers will compete at all rounds.
