Round 4 Report 2008

The final round of the HKS Drag Series 2008 was affected by severe weather and was cancelled without any qualifying or eliminations taking place. With so many great machines present at Santa Pod Raceway, and with exciting championship battles to be fought, this was a bitter anticlimax to what had been a great season. The testing on Saturday gave us a taste of what to expect, with wheels-up launches from Steve Whittaker, everyone was raring to go.

Points were awarded for sign-on and scrutineering, and some competitors also gained bonus points for attending all events. Thanks to all the racers for attending, and to all the spectators who made the long journey in the hope of catching some of the action that we were hoping would unfold.
